Caddx Dl900 Software
I have a Caddx NX10 setup with any card you can imagine - inlcuding the ethernet card and the x10 automation module. (rs232 interface)I have been using the system wiht my Vera zwave unit for a few years and I am just setting up a RPi with Openhab 3 and did a test with the usb. it didnt work actually as expected. i.e. while it saw the Caddx alarm (online) there was no autodiscovery. I have the DL900 software working for me so I have a less complex view of the system settings. would you be so kind so as to indicate which settings in my system appear wrong?
I have the NX-8E alarm panel . It already has a serial to ethernet adapter which was used with the DL900 software about 8 years ago. Do I need any additional hardware to implement your Smartthings integration? Please let me know what is needed and cost.
I have the downloader software installed for downloading this system however, I cannot find the driver for the software on the DSC website. DSC Tech support has said it is available from the Simplex/Tyco website. Searched there with no luck. If anyone possibly has a link to where this version can be downloaded it would be much appreciated. I have DLS 2002 SP2 installed and the only near-match support for downloading is the 4020 v3.3 and 3.5. Thanks for any info provided.
The NX-586E can store up to four NX alarm panel configurations within its own non-volatile memory. These files can be created using the DL900 software (v 1.13 or later) without a panel attached. The files can also be created using the installer program mode on any exisiting NX panel without the need for a computer. The files stored on the Direct Connect Module can be transferred to any panel of the same type or read by the DL900 software for reviewing, editing, and archiving purposes
